Message: Hi William I am retracing my family tree and it turns out my great, great grandad was William Howlett of Wexford?? I wonder have you a strong relative background in Wexford my great grandad came here in the late 1800\'s and settled in Wexford he was a seafarer and came here aged 75?? There is a possibility we have some connections along the family tree I have relations in New Ross/Salt Mills and Campile where my grandmother hailed from, I live in Dublin myself and am interested in finding out were we originate from because most Irish Howletts originate elsewhere mostly Boston

Message: William is an incredible man- he is an ultimate clinician, the top expert in tropical neurology and has devoted his life to teaching medicine in Tanzania. My husband and I first met him when we were medical students at KCMC in Tanzania in 1985 and were inspired by his knowledge and clinical skills and teaching. He inspired us to continue medical volunteer work for the last 25 years. We were happy to find him again at KCMC in 2008 and returned in 2009--William is an incredible asset KCMC and to the teaching of medical students, residents and all the doctors in Tanzania---join us in supporting his work there!!!
